Geovany Soto Tested Positive for Marijuana at WBC
Chicago Cubs catcher Geovany Soto tested positive for marijuana at this year’s World Baseball Classic. However, neither Major League Baseball nor the Chicago Cubs will suspend him for his actions. Evan Longoria and Geovany Soto Win Rookies of the Year
Tampa Bay Rays 3B Evan Longoria and Cubs C Geovany Soto have captured the Rookie of the Year Awards in their respective leagues. Longoria hit 27 home runs in his first season in Tampa, while Soto was named the starting catcher in the 2008 All-Star Game.
