Yankees Extend Cashman’s Contract
After almost a year of speculation, the New York Yankees have extended GM Brian Cashman’s contract through 2011. The Yanks face a troublesome offseason ahead, with mainstays such as Bobby Abreu, Jason Giambi, Mike Mussina, Andy Pettitte, Iván Rodriguez, amongst others.
