-However, Jon Heyman believes that Cleveland is still in the hunt for Ludwick’s services. The two sides were said to be near a trade earlier, but Cleveland balked at some of San Diego’s demands.
-While the Wandy Rodriguez deal appears to be dead, the Yankees are trying to pull-off one more deal at the final minute. Jayson Stark confirms the Bronx Bombers have called the Rockies about a potential deal for Ian Stewart, who would be used in a utility infielder role.
