Time for another Trade Deadline update!

-Jon Heyman is still working the wires, reporting that the Arizona Diamondbacks will likely make a trade for Athletics reliever Brad Ziegler. Ziegler, 31, is 3-2 this season with one save.

-It should also be noted that it is widely speculated that the Athletics may move several more members of their bullpen, with Grant Balfour’s name being thrown around often by many analysts.

-Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports claims that the Cleveland Indians are moving in on a deal to acquire San Diego’s Ryan Ludwick. The Pittsburgh Pirates also remain in the hunt for the veteran outfielder.

-On the Wandy Rodriguez front, it appears that there is a 50/50 chance a deal can get done today, according to Jon Morosi. The New York Yankees appear most willing to make a deal, but expect the Astros to pick up the extra cash that would be moved in the deal.

-It should be noted that through their trades made over the past several days, the Astros have already moved several million dollars, alongside acquiring 10 minor league prospects as it is.
