Horrible and absolutely saddening news out of the world of college basketball, as legendary UCLA men’s basketball head coach John Wooden is in grave condition after being hospitalized in Los Angeles. Various sources report that he is not doing well at all.
Wooden, 99, won 10 national championships with the Bruins, including a miraculous span of seven in a row at one point.
John has been hospitalized several times over the past few years, leaving him in a wheelchair. There is no news as to what his particular illness is as of yet, but nonetheless this is tragic news, as it appears many are expecting the worst.
He is currently located at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. We hope him the best in his recovery. Additionally, we will have full coverage as we learn more.
