Road Racing Anyone?

NASCAR and the Milwaukee Mile may have severed ties, but the NASCAR Nationwide Series will still be in Wisconsin. Coming June 19, 2010, the famous RoadAmerica road course will play host to a 200 mile race for the first time in over a half a century.

The last time the track played host to a NASCAR Race was when it was still one series, back in 1956. That race was won by the late great Tim Flock. This latest addition to the NASCAR calendar will also mark the first time since 2005 that the number of road course races in the United States for the Nationwide Series will outnumber those that are outside of the country.

The remaining road course races on the schedule will be held at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal and at Watkins Glen International.
