Breaking News: Charlie Strong To Be New Football Coach At Louisville

-WHAS, a local media outlet in Louisville, Kentucky has reported that Charlie Strong, the defensive coordinator at the University of Florida, will be the new head coach at Louisville.

-Charlie is set to replace Steve Kragthorpe, who was fired last month after a 15-21 tenure at the school.

-Florida’s defense is rated #3 in the nation in points per game (11.5), and is set to take on Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl in the annual BCS showdown.

-It is unknown if Strong will coach this game, but it may be speculated that he will do so.  The Gators were in prime position to make an appearance in the national title game, but fell to Alabama alongside out of first in the BCS standings.

-No contract details have come out yet, an official press conference will be held Wednesday.

-We await confirmation on the story.
