Vickers Wins Carfax 400 after Johnson Gambles Again at Michigan
Jimmie Johnson ran out of gas with two laps left, allowing Brian Vickers to win his first Sprint Cup race of the year. Vickers now lies twelve points out of 12th place with three races left until the start of the Chase.
For the second consecutive race at Michigan, Johnson lost his gamble on fuel; he ran out of fuel in June, allowing Mark Martin to take the checkered flag.
