New England Patriots 27 Washington Redskins 24- Tom Brady suffered a “sore shoulder” after being slammed to the turf by Albert Haynesworth. Nevertheless, the Patriots went on to win their second game of the preseason. Stephen Gostkowski converted on a 30-yard field goal with 8 seconds left in regulation. Brady finished the game 12-of-19 passing for 150 yards, throwing two touchdown strikes to Randy Moss. Washington’s Jason Campbell completed 13 of 22 passes for 209 yards. Colt Brennan took some snaps for the Redskins, going 6-for-12 for 81 yards, throwing a touchdown pass to Marko Mitchell; however, Brennan threw an interception to New England’s Jonathan Wilhite, who took it to the house from 99 yards out.

Green Bay Packers 44 Arizona Cardinals 37- Aaron Rodgers completed 14 of 19 passes for 258 yards, throwing two touchdown strikes to Jermichael Finley and one to Jordy Nelson. The Packers held off a furious 4th-quarter comeback by the Cardinals. While Kurt Warner was 10-of-16 passing for 135 yards, Matt Leinart stole the show for Arizona. Leinart was 24-for-38 for 346 yards, throwing touchdown passes to Early Doucet, Jason Wright, and Onrea Jones. Unfortunately, it was not enough as Arizona fell to 0-3 in preseason; Green Bay is still undefeated at 3-0.
