Kane Arrested For Robbery; Assault of Cab Driver

Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane and his cousin were arrested in Buffalo early Sunday morning for not paying a cab fare and assaulting a cab driver.

The cost of the ride was $13.80. When the Kanes handed over $15 and asked for change, the cab driver claimed that he only had $1 and could not give back the additional 20 cents. It was then claimed the Kanes took their money back and punched the cab driver right in the face.

The cab driver suffered cuts to his face as well as having his glasses broken. Patrick and James Kane were charged with 2nd degree robbery, and 4th degree criminal mischief and theft of services.

Both men appeared in City court today where Buffalo WIVB reports that both Kanes have plead not guilty.
