Kevin,As a non scientist I find it faiatncsing that you have two sides (alarmists and deniers ) with two totally different data sets, each 100% supporting their position, with neither side willing to give in one bit to the other. Are you at least willing to admit that there are biases on your side? When there are two sides of an issue, both supported by highly intelligent, passionate people who are presumably well intentioned, doesn't the truth usually reside somewhere in the middle?Next question. What do we do about it? Cap and Trade (with a flim flat futures market to siphon off money). Higher taxes? Confiscate cars? Turn off the electricity? Destroy our standard of living for a promise of maybe better weather 50 or 100 years in the future? Or for all we know, maybe another Dust Bowl or Ice Age?Another point. When there is big money at stake, usually it attracts big corruption. That is just human nature. When I hear people hysterically shrieking that we must spend tons of money right now to save the planet from frying, my ears perk up. Especially when the most dramatic thing happening now in weather is a terrible cold wave in Europe. For the 3rd year in a row.Oh, I forgot. It's not global warming anymore. It's climate change. Or is it Global Weirding? Or is it more snow? Or is it less snow?Sorry if my tone is a bit sarcastic.Andy
