NHL Playoffs Recap: May 7

Chicago Blackhawks 2 Vancouver Canucks 1 (OT) - Andrew Ladd, Martin Havlat, and Dave Bolland scored a combined six points to complete Chicago’s comeback victory against Vancouver. Darcy Hordichuk’s first goal of the postseason wasn’t enough to give the Canucks a three games to one lead in the series. Havlat’s goal with 2:44 left in regulation tied the game at 1, and Andrew Ladd redirected a Dave Bolland shot to give Chicago a 2-1 victory over Vancouver. With this win, the series is now tied at two games apiece going back to Vancouver. Check out the highlights of the game:

Detroit Red Wings 6 Anaheim Ducks 3 - The Red Wings were hungry for a win after the controversial loss in Game 3, and it showed in Game 4. Johan Franzen scored the first two goals for Detroit, and Marian Hossa scored the next two for the Red Wings, who went on to win by three. Mikael Samuelsson added a goal of his own, and Henrik Zetterberg found an empty net to seal the victory for Detroit. With this win, the series is now tied at two heading back to Detroit.
