Ryan Whitney scored the only goal for Anaheim; it was his first goal as a Duck and his first since February 16 when he was with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Boston Bruins 4 Carolina Hurricanes 0 - The Boston Bruins refused to be eliminated as they shutout the Carolina Hurricanes by a score of four to nothing. The Bruins unleashed 40 shots on Cam Ward, who stopped 36 of them. Phil Kessel scored twice for Boston while Mark Recchi and Milan Lucic added a goal apiece.
