Pittsburgh Penguins 5 Philadelphia Flyers 3 – Having shutout the Penguins by a score of 3 to 0 at Mellon Arena in Game 5, the Flyers started off Game 6 scoring the first three goals of the game. They were well on their way to forcing a Game 7 until Ruslan Fedotenko, Mark Eaton, and Sidney Crosby scored in the second period to tie the game at 3 heading into period 3. Chicago Blackhawks 5 Calgary Flames 1 – After dropping the last two in Alberta, the Chicago Blackhawks have found their winning ways back home in United Center as they take a 3-2 series lead heading back to Canada. Patrick Sharp, Cam Barker, Brent Seabrook, Andrew Ladd, and Kris Versteeg all scored to lead Chicago to a 4-goal victory over the Flames.
San Jose Sharks 3 Anaheim Ducks 2 (OT) – The #1 seed Sharks have managed to avoid elimination thanks to Patrick Marleau’s winner in overtime. Joe Thornton and Devin Setoguchi, who also scored goals for San Jose, assisted on Marleau’s goal in the extra period to force a Game 6.
