NHL SATURDAY NIGHT LINEUP

by Jon Alba on Saturday, March 14th, 2009

9 games in the works tonight, including the Saturday Night run of Hockey Night In Canada.

Atlanta faces off in Buffalo first (i’ll be attending and giving a post game report) that game starts at 7. Puck drops in Toronto at 7 as well, they host the Flames and that game will be the first feature on Hockey Night in Canada. The other 7 p.m. starts are New Jersey at Montreal, Carolina at Washington, and Florida hosting the Lightning. Out in the west we have the only 8 o’clock start featuring the Dallas Stars hosting the Minnesota Wild. The Stars have one more point than the Wild and they sit in the last playoff spot in the Western Conference so the wild need a win to surpass Dallas tonight. There are three 10 p.m. starts tonight, and those are Nashville at Phoenix, Los Angeles at San Jose, and the Hockey Night in Canada game has Colorado traveling to Edmonton.

Stay posted as I will have post game views from the Sabres-thrashers game.
