He’s Back and Better Than Ever: Woods Wins Invitational
Deja Vu was what I was thinking when I saw that happen. My dad was like, “Woo hoo! Man! He did it again!” What a day it was for Tiger.
I turned on my TV and saw that O’Hair was leading by five. O’Hair at -7 while Woods was at -2. I thought it was going to be pretty tough for the great Tiger Woods to beat Sean O’Hair. But Tiger was a warrior. He was only in second place.
And he won the Invitational. Just on that amazing birdie-putt. And you want to know what else is going on? Tiger Woods, the man who missed so much golf because of that knee surgery, is back!
“It feels good to be back in contention, to feel the rush,” Woods said. “It’s
been awhile, but God, it felt good.”
When Woods made the winning shot, his caddy literally picked him up. What a celebration. If you look at the highlights of the shots Woods made at the U.S. Open and what just happened a while ago, it looks the same.
Arnold Palmer looked excited, too. “What was it I told you last year?” Palmer said, grinning.
According to Fox Sports, Palmer said that he has seen enough of Tiger Woods that you know what to expect. With his sixth victory at Bay Hill, this is the third PGA even Woods has won at least that often.
Pretty good, huh?
Today was special but there are going to be way better highlights in the future. With Woods in his early-30s, he still got his swag.Woods is the man and he looks to be a beast this year. Keep doing what you doing, Tiger. Because you and all of the fans know you are back.
And better than ever.
