Breaking news coming out of the MLB, as Manny Ramirez has finally signed on with a team. The Los Angeles Dodgers have signed Manny to a 2 year/$45 million deal, this after withdrawing this initial offer.
We are happy to announce that we have confirmation on the deal now, and he will report to Spring Training within the week. There were a reported 5 offers that were exchanged between the teams.
Manny was acquired by the Dodgers last season in a three team trade that sent OF Jason Bay to the Red Sox.
Wow, I didn’t think he would agree to this… Dodger fans must be happy.
I reiterate though, this is still UNCONFIRMED.
I am working relentlessly to determine if the report is true.
I don’t know about the terms of the deal, but I checked ESPN and they are reporting the same thing.
