LeBron Silences Madison Square

Following a record-setting night for Kobe Bryant in New York, LeBron James looked to come into the Knicks’ Court and do the same. the same. It wasn’t all LeBron, actually, it was. King James drained 52 points and 9 short of Kobe’s out of this world performance. Although you have to give credit to the Knicks for sending James to the line 19 times, and James finished the night with 16 total free throws. As well as a pair of threes and 17 from the field.

Knicks F Al Harrington had no response to James’ sensational run to 52, but put down 39 of his own and made a game out of tonight’s match-up. The final, surprisingly, was 107-102. Although the dirty work came mostly from 3-point land, it did keep New York in the game. David Lee as always played good down low, but was controlled by Zydrunas “The Big Z” Ilgauskas. Speaking of the Big Z he had 15 of his own and 8 rebounds.

Other than LeBron tearing the place up, the craziest part of the night was when James had a near-injury experience; he came crashing down off the court, which appeared to be somewhat of a torn ACL. Not much has been said so far, but we will be keeping the status of LeBron James up-to-date.

As for Cleveland fans, they would certainly not want to lose a talent like LeBron, they are still buzzing and worrying of the King himself to leave for New York. But whatever the situation, the fans will eat up the rest of the season while James’ presence lasts.
