The Patriots have made their 3rd major move of the off-season, and their first trade. The Pats traded veteran OLB Mike Vrabel to the Kansas City Chiefs for an undisclosed draft pick.

Vrabel, a former Pittsburgh Steelers backup, has been with the Patriots since 2001, and won all 3 Superbowls with the Pats. Last season, Vrabel’s 8th with the Patriots, Vrabel made 40 tackles, 1 forced fumble, 4.0 sacks, and an interception (the interception was of a Ben Roethlisberger pass, against his former team, the Steelers). In his career with the Pats, Vrabel has 1 Pro Bowl appearance, 11 interceptions, 48.0 sacks, 404 tackles, 13 fumbles forced, and 1 defensive TD. The 33-year-old will be missed in New England, heading into his 13th NFL season.
