Only starting in 29 games for the 76′ers’ this season, Brand got a big money contract over the summer, and has not proved his worth since then. Only averaging a mere 5.7 points and 4.7 rebounds. Brand has had recent MRI’s and the recent dislocation of the shoulder was taken into consideration. Doctors said that Brand could start in the Thursday game against the Indiana Pacers after hurting it on Tuesday. Later reports and findings by the doctors saw the revealed disruption that was being placed and what was causing the instability of Brands play.
