The NHL Love Connection: Series Finale Part 2

Search NHL Love Connection, and you can find the other episodes there. Also, I know I’m a bit late on this one, so don’t dock me style points.

*Theme Music*

Chuck Woolery: Hello Folks and welcome to Love Connection. Unfortunately, this is the final game of our series.

Audience: Aww.

Chuck: But starting next week, you can watch me on Greed a.k.a the best game show ever.

Audience: Boo!!!!!

Mike Cosentino: Chuck, hurry up. The more time you spend babbling on about your game shows, the less time I get to play Call of Duty. Kiefer Sutherland is one of the main voice actors.

Chuck: You obsess too much about 24, Mike.

Mike: Yes I do, but today’s game will finally answer what I am obsessed with the most, where the heck Mats Sundin is going to play.

Chuck: Why would you called yourself obsessed with it?

Mike: Because I wrote a series called NHL Love Connection.

Chuck: Touché. Well let’s not keep everyone waiting, here is Mats Sundin everyone.

*Applause*

Chuck: Thanks for coming on the show for what, the fourth time now?

Mats Sundin: It’s a fair guess.

Chuck: Is it true you will make a decision today Mats?

Mats: Yes

Audience: WHAT!!!???

Mats: What’s so hard to believe about that?

Chuck: Anyways, we will give you three choices and you will tell us about one of them.

Mats: Okay.

Chuck: Alright, here today we have Vancouver Canucks GM, Mike Gillis!

Mike Gillis: Come on, Mats (Plays “For The Love Of Money” on a boombox).

Chuck: New York Rangers GM, Glen Sather!

Glen Sather: Come on, Mats. You want the Cup right?

Chuck: Finally, Montreal Canadiens GM Bob Gainey!

Bob Gainey: I’m the only one in the organization that doesn’t have an accent!

Chuck: Alright Mats, which one will you choose?

Mats: I’ll pick Mike Gillis.

Chuck: Alright. How are we today, Mike?

Mike Gillis: Just fine, thank you.

Chuck: Mike, why would you want Mats in Vancouver.

Mike Gillis: Well, popularity to the team, more scoring, the Olympics are here in 2010, we have the NHL’s best goaltender in Bobby Lu…

Roberto Luongo: IF ANYONES CALLS ME THAT ONE MORE TIME I WILL CURB STOMP THEM!!!

Mike Gillis: Calm down, Bobby, relax.

Roberto: Okay.

Chuck: I know that Mr. Sundin here is looking for a Stanley Cup before he retires, would he get a shot in Vancouver?

Mike Gillis: YesmaybesortaIguesssoIdon’tknowpossibly.

Chuck: Now Mats, you are not going there just for the money right.

Mats: I will guarantee you that I am not joining a team for money (Hides his O’Jays CD).

Chuck: Alright, let’s check the audience poll…ooh, they selected the New York Rangers. Now Mats, you can continue with Vancouver or create a contract agreement with the Rangers. What will it be?

Mats: Ooh, that’s easy. I will choose…

Mike: NEXT TIME ON NHL LOVE CONNECTION!!!

Audience, Chuck, Mats and Mike Gillis: WHAT!!!???

Mike: Mats was right. This stalling thing is fun.

Here’s a tip: To type é, press alt-1-3-0 on your keyboard.

  2. doesnt work :(

  3. You have to HOLD alt while you are pressing 1-3-0 in sequence. Try doing that.

  4. Dont forget when you type 1-3-0, you have to do it on the number pad to the right. Not the numbers on top of the letters.

  5. é I was holding all the numbers before I just didn’t use the number pad and used the top numbers like Carmine said so I switched to the number pad an BAM!!! é
