Report: Sundin Now Down To Four Options

The hockey media circus story about Mats Sundin is closer to nearing its end. Mats Sundin will play this year and is deciding on the Vancouver Canucks, Montreal Canadiens, Chicago Blackhawks or New York Rangers as his destination.

Currently, Vancouver is the only team that would be able to sign Sundin without making any moves dues to the salary cap with their 2 year/$20 million offer still available if Sundin so chooses to take it. It is most likely Sundin will sign a contract between $7 million to $10 million per season.

Sundin and his agent hope to have the decision done by around December 15th.
