Report: Greene to Cardinals

The MLB “hot stove” was suffering from the cold, but this may have finally come to an end. SFC has just learned that the St. Louis Cardinals have agreed in principal with the San Diego Padres on a trade to acquire SS Khalil Greene. The Padres will receive pitcher Mark Worrell and a pitcher to be named later. This coming just days after Padres GM Kevin Towers said that Greene was off of the trade market. More news to come.
