Celtics Win 18th Straight, Tie Franchise Record

The Boston Celtics are well on their way to a record-breaking season. With a 124-105 win against the New York Knicks, the Celtics are now 26-2, tieing a franchise record for most consecutive games won. The win also tied a record for most wins by an NBA team with two losses. If the Celtics win their next home game against the Philadelphia 76ers, they will break both records. It should also be noted that the previous two teams that started off 26-2 (Knicks and 76ers) went on to win championships.
