Rumor: Lugo to Detroit

There is a “strong” rumor going around that the Boston Red Sox are on the verge of sending SS Julio Lugo off to the Detroit Tigers for LHP Dontrelle Willis or LHP Nate Robertson.

Lugo never has developed as the shortstop that Boston had hoped, and this trade would definitely assist in keeping a solid rotation.
