With several free agents on the Angels roster including Mark Teixeira, Juan Rivera, and Darren Oliver, it appears less and less likely that Francisco Rodriguez will return to Los Angeles. So who could afford the potential 7 year deal K-Rod want?
Omar Minaya can. The situation seems like a Cinderella story. The Mets bullpen ranked in the bottom of the league last season, and with Billy Wagner out all of next season, its destined. New York has emerged as the favorite to land Rodriguez, flat out. More to come later on this week.
