Edmonton Eskimos 37 Montreal Alouettes 14

The Edmonton Eskimos, despite finishing the season 4th in the West Division, have ended their season on a bright note. Behind 302 passing yards and two touchdowns from quarterback Ricky Ray, the Eskimos defeated the Montreal Alouettes by a score of 37 to 14.

Edmonton finished the season with a 10-8 record while the Alouettes finished the season at 11-7. Montreal, the only team in the East to win more than seven games, sat out six starters, including quarterback Anthony Calvillo. Marcus Brady took the snaps for Montreal, completing 19 of 24 passes for 199 yards, throwing touchdown passes to Mike Imoh and S.J. Green. However, Brady threw a pass to Edmonton’s Lenny Williams.

The Alouettes, who finished first in the East Division, will play the winner of the Eskimos/Bombers game, which will be played next Saturday.
