When was the last time two players hit for the cycle on the same day? Well if you were a major baseball guru, you would say 1920. However, you’ll have to change that day to September 1, 2008. Arizona Diamondback shortstop Stephen Drew and Seattle Mariner third baseman Adrian Beltre have both hit for the cycle on that day.

Stephen Drew for the Diamondbacks went 5-for-5 and scored three runs en route to an 8-6 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals. As for Beltre, he went 5-for-6 and scored five runs as his Mariners defeated the Rangers 12 to 6.
