Breaking News: Billy Wagner=Ex-Met

Mets CL Billy Wagner has made the announcement that with his season ending elbow injury, his career is over as a Met. Wagner will miss all of next year, after which his contract ends. He will decline his multi-million dollar player’s option, and become a free agent for the 2010 season.

This of course leaves the Mets without a closer. K-Rod anyone?
