Padraig Harrington Wins PGA Championship

For the second time this year, Padraig Harrington has proved he is among the elite.  With a 66 on Sunday, Harrington won the final major of the season, the PGA Championship.  He finished the tournament at -3, two shots above Sergio Garcia and Ben Curtis.  Harrington had won the British Open earlier this Summer.

With his third major in the last six chances, this win proves that Pady is a force to be reckoned with.  While the tournament was clearly without Tiger Woods, Harrington has shown that taking chances of these opportunities is a skill he is good at.  There were only 4 scores the whole tourny in which 70 was broken, two of which came from him.  It will be interesting to see where he finishes in the FedEx Cup come year end.
